Powerhouse Descaler can dissolve approximately 3.3 lbs of calcite (calcium carbonate) scale per gallon in concentrated form. It does not need to be pre-heated/heated up during cleaning. The uniqueness of the this descaler permits you to clean certain equipment while still operational, resulting in fewer periods of prolonged downtime.
